As Fidelity Building Services Group’s (Fidelity) General Counsel, Jeff Rosenfeld serves as the organization’s in-house attorney, focusing on contracts and all legal matters related to construction. In addition, Jeff serves as a liaison between Fidelity and our outside counsel.

For nearly three decades, Jeff has represented owners, contractors, suppliers, and sureties in mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appeals. His experience includes working on large and complex construction projects similar to those within the Fidelity portfolio of clients, including power plants, large commercial buildings, healthcare institutions, retail and recreational facilities, residential buildings, and those related to hospitality.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Jeff was a partner at Harrison Law Group, a Towson, Maryland-based law firm that provides legal services to construction professionals. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University. His writings can be found in the Maryland Construction Law Deskbook, where he co-authored a chapter entitled “Contract Terminations.”

For several years prior to joining Fidelity, Jeff had been selected to the Super Lawyers of Maryland in the field of Construction Litigation. In 2008, he served as Counsel to the former Eastern Shore Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. Previous appointments also included serving as a Council Member for the Construction Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, as well as Co-Chairman of the Construction Law Section’s Legislative/Case Law Update.
