Mark Ryan
Chesapeake Mission Critical
As the President and Founder of Chesapeake Mission Critical, Mark Ryan is responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the design, build, and maintenance of critical infrastructure that supports Information Technology (IT). Mark works tirelessly to create solutions that are reliable, available, and maintainable for customers in the government, healthcare, and data center markets. In 2023, Mark became a Partner at Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity) when Chesapeake Mission Critical joined the company.
Prior to founding Chesapeake Mission Critical, Mark served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Chesapeake Systems, where he managed a sales team, led strategic planning initiatives, and oversaw daily operations. He started the Mission Critical Division in 2001, focusing on selling products and services that supported IT. In 2007, he bought out the Mission Critical Division and started Chesapeake Mission Critical, serving as President. Since that transition, he has helped plan, design, build, and maintain critical infrastructure solutions for many of the nation’s most secure and dependable facilities, from government institutions to Fortune 500 companies, throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
Mark is a graduate of Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Management. He is affiliated with 7×24 Exchange International and a member of AFCOM, leading organizations dedicated to the education and career advancement of data center, IT, and mission-critical professionals.
