Gus Stratakis

As President of Martin J. Braun Mechanical Contractors (Martin J. Braun), Gus Stratakis serves as a liaison between Martin J. Braun and government personnel, ensuring that all mission-critical projects receive Martin J. Braun’s approach to service excellence. He is also the project lead for CONUS and OCONUS contracts, which Martin J. Braun has performed across the United States and on three different continents.

Gus is a true visionary and, under his leadership, exponentially grew Martin J. Braun’s footprint in the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia markets. With 20 years of commercial real estate development experience, Gus purchased Martin J. Braun in 2000 from its founders, Martin and Maxine Braun. He dutifully served as President and Owner until February 2017, at which time Martin J. Braun was acquired by Fidelity Building Services Group. During his 17-year leadership, Gus made indelible marks on the organization and within the industry, as he tripled Martin J. Braun’s business volume and significantly expanded its government services portfolio.

In his current role, Gus continues to further Martin J. Braun Mechanical Contractor’s missions of service excellence and strategic growth while maintaining its stronghold as the region’s premier, full-service mechanical contractor.

Gus is a graduate of Towson University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Marketing.
