Gus Stratakis

Gus Stratakis serves as President of Martin J. Braun Mechanical Contractors (Martin J. Braun), where he provides executive leadership, oversees business operations, and acts as a key liaison between the company and government personnel. In this role, Gus leads both CONUS and OCONUS projects—contracts performed across the United States and on three different continents—ensuring every mission-critical initiative reflects Martin J. Braun’s commitment to service excellence.

Gus has been instrumental in transforming Martin J. Braun into one of the region’s leading full-service mechanical contractors. Drawing on two decades of experience in commercial real estate development, he expanded the company’s presence throughout the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia markets. Under his leadership, the company has tripled in size and significantly expanded its government services portfolio.

Gus served as President and Owner from 2000 to 2017, before Martin J. Braun joined Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity). He continues to serve as President of Martin J. Braun and Partner of Fidelity, guiding strategic growth and reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted leader in complex mechanical projects in the industry.

Prior to joining the mechanical contracting industry, Gus gained valuable experience in real estate development and property management, as well as owning and operating a family restaurant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Towson University.
