Paul Meng

Paul Meng serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Smart Building Technologies (SmartBT). In this role, Paul is responsible for sales growth with a concentration on the integration of IoT devices and systems in the management and efficiency of electrical and mechanical building systems. This first-to-market approach has permeated throughout Paul’s career and has helped produce industry accolades for SmartBT, leading to the recognition of numerous high-profile projects and professional services alike.

In 2020, Paul became a Partner when Smart Building Technologies joined Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity), a partnership that builds on Paul’s vision for the organization to continue serving as the leader in building automation systems (BAS) services throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Paul brings to his leadership role over three decades of experience in building automation. His entrepreneurial vision is credited with helping companies achieve national and international growth. Throughout Paul’s career, he has served in numerous senior leadership, advisory, and ownership roles, charged with facilitating company growth while advancing the market in the latest in emerging BAS technologies. 

Paul attended Meramec College in St. Louis, Missouri and the University of Maryland University College. Throughout his career, Paul has stayed current with the latest systems and technologies, attending numerous continuing education classes within the industry and maintaining his expertise in the most recent products and services.
