Fidelity Building Services Group Names Scott Dunstone, CPA to Vice President, Controller
BALTIMORE, MD (April 30, 2020) – Scott Dunstone, CPA has been named Vice President, Controller at Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity), a leader in integrated technical building services and solutions. Dunstone brings 20 years of accounting and financial expertise to his role, where he will lead Fidelity’s finance and accounting teams across the organization’s growing portfolio of companies.
Dunstone will work closely with the Leadership and Corporate Development teams to ensure a smooth transition of all accounting practices after each merger and acquisition (M&A), an initiative that Fidelity has intensely focused on over the last several years to expand its national presence. Currently, Fidelity BSG has 22 operating locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions, including Fidelity Mechanical Services, Fidelity Power Systems, Star Service, HVAC Concepts, Benchmark Automation & Controls, Central Tech Services, Martin J. Braun Mechanical Contractors, and United Mechanical.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Dunstone served as an Assistant Controller/Director of Accounting at Element Fleet Management, where he was responsible for all accounting duties and analysis of all national subsidiaries in accordance with United States GAAP and IFRS. He also participated in the integration of acquisitions, where he consolidated multiple business lines, systems, and funding structures, as well as identified synergies and improved processes and financial reporting. His accounting career also includes serving as an In-Charge Auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dunstone received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola College’s Sellinger School of Business and Management in Baltimore, Maryland.
