BALTIMORE, MD (January 7, 2019) – Fidelity Engineering announced today the hiring of Guy Barron as Chief Human Resources Officer.

As the premier provider of high performance building solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, the Fidelity family of companies currently have over 750 team members. Barron will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of all aspects of human resources management, talent acquisition, safety, and payroll. With his passion for improving the overall employee experience, Barron will support Fidelity’s efforts to build a strong team and expand geographically in new markets.

Barron has over 20 years of experience in HR and organizational effectiveness and was most recently the CHRO for Search Optics, a global digital marketing and technology firm based in San Diego, CA. Prior to his experience at Search Optics, Barron served as a Vice President of Human Resources at ABM Industries, overseeing HR for the Fortune 500 organization’s national engineering, HVAC, government and energy solutions business lines.

Barron holds a BS in Human Resources Management from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA and is a senior certified professional through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
