William Marshall See, III is the Director of Building Solutions for Systems Contractors. Marshall has been applying 30 years of HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) experience to lead the Systems Contractors’ BAS Controls Management and Service departments. In 2021, Marshall became a Partner at Fidelity Building Services Group (Fidelity BSG) when Systems Contractors joined Fidelity BSG’s portfolio of companies.

While today Marshall is an integration and data driven maintenance specialist, his career started in the HVAC sector where he gained hands-on experience through his work in sheet metal, pipe fitting, plumbing, systems installation, service, and repair. He then shifted to the BAS sector, where he spent nearly 15 years with Trane in management roles for their Building Automation and Intelligent Services support divisions.

Marshall’s education played an important role in his career growth and has complimented the invaluable, on-the-job experience that has led to his intricate knowledge of both HVAC and BAS. Marshall graduated from the HVAC Program at Davidson-Davie County Community College in Thomasville, North Carolina and has also participated in a Business Development Program at UNC Greensboro.

Marshall holds several industry certificates that have contributed to his professional advancement, including a North Carolina HVAC Contractor license, various Trane certifications, as well as others within BAS, including Niagara and ABB Cylon Controls certifications.
