< BACKDave Lanphar, LEED AP, is a proven executive with over 30 years of success in leading, operating, and strategically growing Service and Contracting companies in the Technical Building Services space. In addition to having a passion for our industry, Dave has a unique ability to bring the operations and financial management of companies together. In the past 20 years, he has led a significant number of mergers and acquisitions, primarily best-in-class companies specializing in commercial/industrial technical products and services.
In his current role as Chief Executive Officer / Partner, Dave leads the Fidelity Executive Team. He is instrumental in outlining the company’s strategies and support structure for the day-to-day operations of the business, while working closely with his team to achieve organic and strategic acquisition growth. In addition to serving as CEO of Fidelity Building Services Group®, he serves as a Board Member of all past and present Fidelity BSG companies. Ultimately responsible for over 2,000 Team Members, Dave is actively involved with his team and clients in supporting industry and charitable causes.
Dave joined Fidelity in 1985 as a Field Service Technician. He was able to quickly earn his Master’s HVAC License and move into a Sales Engineering position. From there, he worked his way up to senior management while studying Business and Finance in the evenings. Additionally, Dave held the positions of Regional Vice President, Sr. Vice President-Operations, and Chief Operating Officer with Comfort Systems USA, a $1.6B publicly traded national HVAC industry consolidator. He gained a tremendous amount of experience while being a part of this national mechanical contracting and service company for seven years. Upon his return to Fidelity, Dave was appointed President / Partner and, shortly thereafter, CEO / Partner of Fidelity Building Services Group.
Dave has earned degrees from RETS Technical School (HVAC Design & Service) and the Community College of Baltimore (Business Management), and studied Finance at the University of Baltimore. He has also earned his LEED AP credentials with the US Green Building Council.
